My brand new 4l80e was running a bit warmer than I could like, and I think it was due to me leaving part of the stock transmission system in place. Today we're completely re-plumbing the transmission cooler lines and eliminating the stock in-radiator transmission cooler in an attempt to get the temperatures running a little cooler. We'll accomplish this with some Russel AN line and fittings and some DEI Fire Sleeve and a TruCool 40k cooler, and believe it or not, our modification actually helped.
