Drawing a pair of scissors is not as hard as it looks, because I'll show you how to draw scissors in nice easy steps. You'll soon have a brilliant drawing. This drawing tutorial takes you through how to measure the scissors first, and how to draw the basic shapes accurately. Once the basic shapes are drawn I explain how to make the scissors look three dimensional by using vertical lines. This simple drawing technique will ensure that the handles of the scissors are all the same thickness.
Once this is complete I explain how to complete the shading using a 2B and 4B pencils. The shading is completed by using the pencil on its side and not using the point. The drawing is created on good quality cartridge paper.
