On the first of January 2024, the Netherlands – together with a large number of other countries – implemented the minimum tax rules of Pillar 2. The first tax returns are due in 2026, but the first compliance obligation is for the 2023 financial reporting. For some Dutch companies that deadline might already be July 2024.
