The book analyses why majoritarianism is a deeply flawed idea and challenges conventional perspectives on Societal Dynamics. The book, scientifically and engagingly, demonstrates that it is flawed to blame the majority for any social intolerance. He also goes on to discuss what he calls
Linear Theory of Social Evolution and Disharmony and Majoritarianism in Global Media.

About the Speaker:
Prof. Kausik Gangopadhyay is an economist, currently employed as Professor at the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, Faculty of Economics. He has earned his PhD from the University of Rochester. He was the chair for the doctoral programme as well as the chair of international relations for IIM Kozhikode, among different portfolios.
His research interests are applied economics and empirical social sciences. He has a co-edited book published by Springer Verlag. He also enjoys writing popular articles, having published in outlets like DNA, Firstpost, and Swarajya. 'The Majoritarian Myth: How Unscientific Social Theories Create Disharmony' is his recent Book.

Akshay Raghav is a management professional and an alumnus of Punjab University, Chandigarh. He is passionate about the heritage of Indic civilisation, and he understands that history is a dynamic field, and believes in the importance of constantly re-evaluating and rewriting human history as new facts emerge.
As a student of Sanskrit and Indian knowledge systems, his first book, titled “The Dopamine Effect! Or The Maya Effect?”, combines scientific principles with ancient Indian concepts.
