Eid al-Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice is one of the two major religious celebrations that Muslims observe every year. Known as the Feast of the Lamb or the Sacrifice of the Lamb, it is a sacred ritual that coincides with the annual Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, symbolizing veneration and gratitude to God and commemorating how Abraham accepted to sacrifice his own son as a demonstration of his love for Him, but eventually replaced him with a lamb. 🐑
