In this video, I'll show you the potential impact on your Social Security benefits if you retire prior to your full retirement age. The Social Security Benefits statement could drastically overestimate your benefits.

If you plan to retire early, use this simple calculator to get a more accurate estimate of what your Social Security check will be.
NOTE: There was a miscalculation in the example given that overestimated the impact, but the example holds true. It's always best to enter your earnings history using the calculator below to get a better estimate of your Social Security benefit if you retire early.
