One of the most common complaints about the BMW S55 motor is the sound. It's said to be raspy.. its said to sound like a weed eater! One of the BEST ways to change and improve that sound is with the @TheActiveAutowerke performance midpipe!

I want to show you how to do this install yourself and easily make a huge difference in your M2 Competition. This installation isn't hard and something you can do easily yourself, and I will appreciate the dramatic change it will bring to your car!

Required parts and tools:
Active Autowerke perfomance midpipe including F-brace

11mm, 13mm, 15mm socket and wrench
E10 reverse torx socket
12inch socket extension and wobble
T6 allen socket
Torque wrench
metal file
old hose clamp
Sawzall and metal cutting blade (or similar)

Torque Values
11mm nuts - 19nm
E10 bolts - 28nm
T6 allen bolts - 24nm
13mm nuts (red and black hangers) - 19nm

If you wanted to replace 11mm nuts and gaskets
11mm nuts (4) - 18307597650
gaskets (2) - 18307851168
