Seagate ST4000DM000 external hard drive (2) behavior.

Serial number: WDH0SXYA

Drive was never dropped, jostled or abused in any way. It's lived a dull, boring life.

Windows 7 makes a noise on connection via USB but does not mount, same behavior under Windows 10. Drive cannot be accessed via Recuva or any other file recovery software I have tried.
