The butter smooth inline 6 turbo is a punchy unit and makes a solid case for daily drivability. Making 335HP+ ( correction from 333HP mentioned in the video). The X5 is sporty and roomy! handles very well for its size and offers more or less all the features that the X7 offers. Where they differ is in the rear, behind the front cabin. The X7 has a very comfortable 3rd row that makes great usage of the longer body. The cargo is small with the seats up so you have to choose between a people carrier or cargo but it can do either with extreme ease. The adjustable ride height is very useful and it would a pleasure to drive. It doesn't offer sport in any way but it is very comfortable. The front cabin is a familiar BMW interior with the same infotainment. The difference in price is around 25,000$ (individual options aside). The X7 doesn't offer much in the way of front cabin over the X5, making it a bit expensive. They both are offered with V8 engines, the X5 even gets a full M version. The X7 does have an Alpina variant for extra pizzazz.
