Shot 1: Shutdown

Shot 2: Check the wiring for the Y-axis motor. Confirm the label says Y-axis. Confirm that the wiring to the Y-axis is intact, and fully plugged into the Y-axis motor interface by unplugging the connector and then re-inserting it back in. Check to see if it is working after powering on.

Shot 3: If that did not fix it, turn off the machine again. Put the machine on it's side. Use a Philips screwdriver to remove the screws, and then remove the bottom cover of the case to reveal the motherboard.

Shot 4: Check whether the Y-axis motor wires are completely inserted into the Y-axis motor connector on the motherboard, by unplugging the connector, pulling it out and then re-inserting it back in. Check to see if it is working by powering on.

Shot 5: If that did not fix it, turn off the the machine. Remove the Y-axis motor driver from the motherboard, then pull out the Z-axis motor driver and insert it into the Z-axis motor driver socket, then turn on the machine to test the Y-axis.

Shot 6: If the above steps did not resolve the problem, the motherboard has developed a fault and will need to be replaced.
