Black Theology’s Passion: Commensurate with the Wounds of the Oppressed

Black theology, as a survival theology, is concerned with the life chances of persons of African ancestry. Professor LaReine-Marie Mosely, SND examines inattention to the lives of former bondspersons and those of poor and disenfranchised African Americans in Baltimore, Maryland by juxtaposing two ecclesial meetings in the United States, one in 1866 and one in 2019.
