No changes for the 2024 Volvo V90 Cross Country, but that's not a bad thing. We go over everything you need to know about this luxury station wagon if you're in the market for an $86,000 executive car.

We've been waiting to drive the largest Volvo station wagon for quite some time now. In 2023 Volvo Canada brought some updates to the V90, and dropped all but the Cross Country model for our market. As we roll into the 2024s there's no change, essentially a normal carryover model. We go over the technical specifications of this executive station wagon and everything else you'd want to know if you're in the market for one.

This vehicle is powered by the B6 twin-charged 4 cylinder engine, with 2.0L of displacement paired with a turbo and supercharger, plus a mild-hybrid system. We've tested this engine previously, and is the only option moving forward as Volvo plans to sell MHEV, PHEV, and EVs moving forward.

Our test vehicle comes extremely well optioned with Volvo's Platinum Grey metallic paint and Amber Ventilated nappa leather interior. Other options include the Bowers & Wilkins 19 speaker audio system, active chassis with rear air, and 21" 7 open-spoke diamond cut alloy rims.

We go on the road with this mid-size luxury wagon to talk about the drive, ride, handling, and performance of this vehicle along with some of the features that distinguish Volvo from other luxury car brands.
