From Sonny's background as the founder and CEO at Misfit Wearables, he then went on to establish Alabaster. This venture capital & private equity firm advises and invests in 'deeptech startups that have the potential for positive, planet-level impact.'

His business, AREVO, is pioneering development of carbon fibre reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites. This material has a very high strength-to-weight ratio; and is used in the new Superstrata bike. The bike itself is billed as ‘the world’s first made-to-measure 3D-printed bicycle with an impact-resistant unibody carbon fibre frame.’

Sonny talks through his journey with the new bike; how Covid-19 helped accelerate bringing the brand to market; and why now is a great time to start up a business.
