HAZRAT UWAIS QARNI (may God be pleased with him)

FULL NAME: Uwais ibn Amir ibn Harb al-Qarni

Arabic: أويس ابن أنيس القرني‎.

He was a Muslim from Yemen who lived during the lifetime of the Islamic PROPHET MUHAMMED ﷺ. His shrine is in Salalah Oman. Another mosque & shrine is constructed in his honor in al-Raqqah, Syria. It was destroyed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in 2013. Another shrine was constructed in his honor in Baykan, in the Siirt Province of Turkey etc.
