Learn in this video how to use the M Drift Analyser in the BMW M3, BMW M4 and their Competition models with the optional equipment M Drive Professional.

CO2 emissions (combined) in g/km: 230-228 (WLTP)

This function serves for the evaluation and analysis of single drifts and the recording and assessment of any track layouts with drifts. To activate the M Drift Analyser you need to deactivate DSC. You can do so by holding the DSC button for around 4 seconds, and selecting the M Drift Analyser in the central information display. Confirming the relevant legal disclaimer to continue the M Drift Analyser is automatically activated. On the right side you have the option to activate or deactivate the M Drift Analyser, to change the M Traction Control level and to switch between “Single drift” and “Drift session” displays. Press “Start Drift Session” to start measuring, and “End Drift Session” when you are done. The drifts are evaluated immediately an their analysis is displayed in the central information display and M Head-Up Display. Depending if you are driving in “Single drift” mode or “Drift session”, different parameters are shown. If the M Drift Analyser is deactivated, DSC ON is automatically set.
