Robert Allen Griffin was a newspaperman and a soldier. He served in the infantry in both world wars and fought on France, twice. He was an integral figure in Monterey, California starting a newsaper there that still exists today. Griffin stood for truth in the press and for an America we can be proud of.

Vestiges of History is a YouTube channel that explores and shares the story of people through the objects they left behind.
