For 2020 Toyota has updated this plug-in hybrid model with nice updates including a new 5th seat in the rear, standard Apple CarPlay, Additional USB connections in the rear and the previous white interior trim has been replaced with black for an upscale look. Toyota is known for hybrid technology with the already efficient Prius and this Prius Prime takes it to a more efficient level. With the ability to plug-in, this Prius Prime is capable of 40kms of driving on just electricity. After 40kms, the Prius Prime reverts to the already efficient Prius Hybrid system. The standout feature of the interior is the 11.6-inch centre infotainment screen that is the focus of the interior. This large screen lets the driver access Apple CarPlay but also full-screen navigation and several driving coaches to help drive more efficiently.
