Almost everyone I know has added some kind of location-tracking device to their bike, whether it's an Apple AirTag or a Knog Scout or some other device. The idea is that, if (when?) your bike gets stolen, you'll just pull up its location on your phone and go get it back.

But this isn't as simple as it sounds. Here's a deep dive into location tracking as a way of combatting bike theft.
