Avatar Flight of Passage is a 3D flying simulator ride at Pandora – The World of Avatar in Disney's Animal Kingdom. The ride combines sight, smell, and sound to simulate flying on an Ikran banshee over Pandora, with soaring heights, drops, and quick turns. The ride is considered one of the most popular at Disney World

The ride takes place in the Avatar universe, where visitors board their own mountain banshee and soar across the landscape of Pandora. The ride includes an immersive queue, where guests are matched with an Avatar based on "genetic material matching". Guests then move to an orientation room for preshow number two, where Dr. Ogden explains the Rite of Passage ceremony. During the ceremony, guests link to an avatar already on the back of a banshee by sitting in one of the 16 link chairs

The ride is considered a thrill ride, with some saying the motion sensitivity is impacted. The ride vehicle seats are known for not being accommodating of all body types, but there is a test seat outside the queue that you can practice on.
