In this video we use a ridiculous looking traxxas RC car to determine how big of an impact the wings can have. With low speed downforce, it requires high angles of attack and a high surface area to create enough force to drive the suspension down. The total amount of downforce on this car at 45mph is calculated to equal more than the car in perfect conditions, which realistically means we may be able to expect half of that. This is still half of the cars weight.
