Many people have asked me over the years about how to improve eyesight without glasses, but I have refrained from commenting as this is a pretty loaded topic. To prepare for this video, I have read multiple books on eye training and active focus theories such as endmyopia, all in an effort to give a more detailed explanation of what these "myopia cure" theories suggest and teach. Unfortunately, many of the theories such as the Bates Method are outdated and carry little scientific support.

Eyesight is extremely complex and involves much more coordination between the eyes and the brain than many sources lead people to believe. I urge anyone to read and investigate these theories with some level of skepticism and to always consult your local eye care provider regarding all matters pertaining to your eye health.
