Solving an ode using integrating factors. We solve a differential equations using a method called integrating factor, where you write the equation in standard form and then multiply by exp integral P. This converts it into product rule form, and after integrating we can easily solve for y. This is a very common technique for solving first order scalar equations and is extremely useful in calculus.
