RITMO, THE CHICK COREA SYMPHONY TRIBUTE – MAKING OF (OFICIAL)

RITMO es un homenaje a la música del genial compositor y pianista estadounidense, CHICK COREA.
Grabado en directo en julio de 2021 en el Auditorio ADDA de Alicante, RITMO ha sido concebido por Josep Vicent, Director Musical de la Orquesta ADDA Simfònica, con arreglos del pianista y compositor ganador del Premio Latin Grammy, Emilio Solla. En él revisitan 12 de las piezas más icónicas y memorables de la inmensa producción de Corea, a través de la deslumbrante sonoridad creada por la combinación de una orquesta sinfónica de 80 piezas, un trío de jazz y tres extraordinarios solistas: el saxofonista Paquito D´Rivera, ganador de 5 Premios Grammy y 14 Premios Latin Grammy, el cantaor y saxofonista flamenco Antonio Lizana y el trompetista David Pastor.
En este metraje, montado por Igor Studio, se puede apreciar el espíritu y significado que dieron forma a este proyecto, único en su género, que celebra la vitalidad del trabajo de uno de los artistas más importantes en el desarrollo del lenguaje musical universal.


RITMO is a tribute to the music of the great American composer and pianist, CHICK COREA.
Recorded live in July 2021 at the ADDA Auditorium in Alicante, RITMO has been conceived by Josep Vicent, Musical Director of the ADDA Simfònica Orchestra, with arrangements by the Latin Grammy Award-winning pianist and composer, Emilio Solla. In it, they revisit 12 of the most iconic and memorable pieces of Corea's immense production, through the dazzling sound created by the combination of an 80-piece symphony orchestra, a jazz trio and three extraordinary soloists: saxophonist Paquito D' Rivera, winner of 5 Grammy Awards and 14 Latin Grammy Awards, the flamenco singer and saxophonist Antonio Lizana and the trumpeter David Pastor.
This footage, made by Igor Studio, shows the spirit and meaning that shaped this project, unique in its kind, which celebrates the vitality of the work of one of the most important artists in the development of the universal musical language.
