Hey everyone, That Fishing Noob here! Why did I choose to purchase an Old Town PDL 106? Short answer - after lots of research, it was the best bang and investment I could make. Was it pricey? Sure was, but it's not as expensive as some other boats out there. Has it been worth it? Without a doubt, yes. I car top this kayak, so going with a 106 versus a 120 was a big deciding factor for me. Later on down the line, if I buy a trailer, I may upgrade to the 120 and my wife will inherit the 106. Until then, I'm going to fish the heck out of this 106.
