Learn how to set up an internal SOLIDWORKS Flow Simulation analysis on a piping system. Internal analyses are widely used for piping, manifolds, electronics enclosures, and many other other applications. Internal analysis require lids or other coverings to create a watertight fluid region. Flow Simulation analyzes this region exclusively to greatly improve solution time.

Boundary conditions such as flow rate and pressure openings are specified. Goals are established to track key parameters and ensure solver convergence. The project is run and later cloned to test a variation. Results interpretation is also discussed.
