In this video I show you guys how to repair carbon fiber cracks with nothing more than sandpaper, resin, polish and elbow grease!

Fixing your broken carbon fiber parts can be time consuming but it is economically worth it since carbon fiber parts are very expensive!

Remember not to sand the exposed carbon fiber cloth if you can avoid it! Disturbing the weave will make your repair obvious. If the cloth has been cracked through, you can still salvage your part if you do not care about how it looks. Reinforce the back side with a new piece of cloth and soak it in resin. Use chopped carbon fiber on the front and build up the area until there is no longer a void. Sand smooth and polish for a nice finish!
