Using Kia’s new 600hp EV6 GT, Fifth Gear will embark on an EV marathon of all EV marathons - driving the length of Norway, up the conveniently named E6, which also happens to be Europe’s longest road. The journey will start just north of the Swedish border, close to Oslo, and finish at the Northern tip of the country, which is well inside the Arctic Circle. It’s a distance of around 1500 miles and we’ve got just 2 days to do it in. In part one we meet the team, the car, look at the logistics, and get going.
