Sister Hina Khan-Mukhtar answers a young person's question about how one can possibly live a life where one "gets it all done" without feeling overwhelmed.

This is a must-watch both for parents who have high expectations for their children and for those children who feel they can't meet their parents' expectations.

This was in response to an online question during a teen-parent forum at the MCC from a teen about parents who have high expectations for their children and for those children who feel they can't meet their parents' expectations. Watch the entire insightful parenting panel:    • "My Parents Just Don't Understand Me"...

These are the 6 needs for balance for an observant young Muslim:

1. Physical health
2. Education related (Attending tutor, classes & etc)
3. Career (figuring out what you want to do & work towards it)
4. Meeting with the community (bond)
5. Religious (perform salah & zikir)
6. Family time (having meal together)
