I wanted to share with you some impressions from my first reenactment tournament, the third Schwertkampf Tage in Prenzlau organized by the Schwarzwölfe. I made the fourth place out of sixth ten , with the top 3 winning with 2 or 3 points more per round than myself. The last three fights in this video are my bouts for the final top 3.

The ruleset was Havelstyle with helmet. Each bout was 1 minute long and the fighter with the most hitpoints would win. So this is going more into a buhurt style fighting. Such kind of ruleset embraces the kind of combat where the fighters often disregard their own defence for the opportunity to hit the opponent as often as possible.
