Townsend is the hidden gem of east Tennessee with little traffic, huge views, and the ability to make your trip to Tennessee magical.

We took a trip around Cades Cove loop and came back to find campsite bandits trying to score a night in the park at our expense and while it was awkward and frustrating... we were able to deal with it rather quickly.
