In this video, I answer a viewer question concerning a true cost analysis of milling my own lumber compared to purchasing lumber for my projects. I take a look at the total costs of the mill and all the accessories and supplies needed to keep it running and compare that to the cost of lumber at the current rate. I also use the example of building my barn and compare all the material costs needed to build it again and compare the two options.
