In this video you will learn how to retrofit an OEM GM locking tailgate handle into a 2019 GMC Canyon. Process should be similar on 2015-2020 Colorados and Canyons. The equipped tailgate on my Canyon was manual locking only. I wanted to be able to lock and unlock the tailgate using my key fob. So I sourced the parts needed from a 2020 Colorado and retrofitted them into my Canyon.
