The INFINITI Q50 turned a decade old with only minor changes, but to "celebrate" the continued-existence of this sport sedan INFINITI has released the exclusive Black Opal edition. Essentially an INFINITI Q50S Red Sport 400 with an exclusive paint and other unique visual accents. Under the hood still lies the Twin Turbo 3.0L VR inline-6 that produces a healthy 400 horsepower and is paired to a 7-speed automatic. Otherwise, the Q50 is... remarkably familiar.

But can a 10-year old car even compete on the market these days? When amazing vehicles such as the BMW M340i, and Cadillac CT4-V Blacking clock in at similar price points, one must look quite closely at their own priorities to evaluate what one truly wants from their luxury sports sedan. A comfortable highway grand tourer, or an engaging sports car that just happens to have four doors? In today's we review we go over the INFINITI Q50's exterior, interior, and driving dynamics and find out if the Q50 is still relevant, or it is time to move on.
