This is a long time coming project. We are installing an old school 5.3L, also known as double hump head $300 327.    • 327 SBC: How much was it?? Will it run??   This engine came with roller tip rockers, and complete from carburetor to starter to headers to distributor, we actually fired it up sitting on the ground. In this video we start the tear down of the truck to make the swap. I had looked on Youtube for a reference video as to what was needed to remove the front clip ( fenders, inner fenders, core support together), I couldn't find one, so I made one. I hope this helps someone that may be just getting started working on one of these Gen 1 S10, Sonoma, S15, chevy/GMC all the same. 1982 to 1993.
