In this video, we show you how to activate and deactivate the exhaust brake on a 2020-2024 3.0L Duramax Diesel Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra 1500, Chevrolet Suburban/GMC Yukon XL, Chevrolet Tahoe/GMC Yukon, and Cadillac Escalade.

The exhaust brake is a feature that uses the engine's backpressure to slow the vehicle down. This can be helpful for towing heavy loads or driving down steep grades.

To activate the exhaust brake, simply press the "Exhaust Brake" button on the center console. The button will light up when the exhaust brake is engaged.

To deactivate the exhaust brake, simply press the "Exhaust Brake" button again. The button will turn off when the exhaust brake is disengaged.
