At a recent track day at Santa Pod Raceway a BMW X3M pulled onto the track. On its first run, I put the camera down and waited for the next car, only to see it run into the 11's. The standard car has a twin turbo 3.0l straight six engine with an 8 speed auto box and AWD, and weighs in at 1970KG or 4343 lbs. After speaking to the owner he said this one had be remapped, and now produces 640bhp. The next few runs saw it continue to run in the 11's with a best run of 11.44 @ 120mph. A real supercar slayer.
