I (@GirlInTheGarageDotStore) wanted to freshen up my art desk in my studio, which has a white melamine table top (covered in remnants of old resin and dried paint!). I love wooden tables but as wood can be easy to damage (me using tools), harder to keep clean (me using resin or paint) and expensive (wow prices have increased dramatically lately), so I wanted something that was cheap to replace if I damaged it, easy to wipe clean and not overly expensive, the easiest and cheapest solution was to get a wood grain vinyl wrap aka contact paper. It's easy to do and looks awesome. This is an easy DIY how to tutorial for anyone.
