ESCONDIDO: A vehicle which was carjacked out of Murrieta by a male armed with a black handgun was located by Murrieta PD. Pd attempted to stop the vehicle and the driver fled and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit came into the north county at speeds of 90+ MPH. The vehicle was spiked near the deer springs exit and the 15 freeway and came to a slow stop also hitting a barrier on the right shoulder. After some time of giving commands and deploying pepper balls officers and deputies made there way up to the car where they found the suspect dead. The cause is unknown at this time.
