Can we make it crawl?? Today I'm Installing aftermarket Trail-Gear 3.11:1 low range crawler gears into my Toyota Land Cruiser 80 Series transfer case. These fit both the 80 and 100 series (FJ80 and FJ100) H1FA/HF2AV and will reduce the gear ratio by 25% by replacing the low speed gear and idler gear, which makes it easier to off-road at a slower pace with more control... especially if you're rock crawling. These will not get the cruiser as low of a crawl ratio as a Pickup or 4Runner with dual transfer cases, but it'll definitely be an improvement over stock! Follow along as I build these transfer cases, enjoy!
