saturday the 27 of april another branch outing for me outing to leeds towers were burley st matthas 8 bells very very quiet outside and very very difficult to see the church all the trees were so close but i got what i could do the bells sounded like york north street all saints church 7cwt 8 pounds methods were grandsire bob major myself ringing the treble a bit tricky only a light set there bit heavier than lightcliffe st matthews chrch by stuart mills thank you for orgonising this barnsley doncaster trip it was exellent least the weather was fearley dry bit cloudy but some sunshine other difficult methods were rung yorkshire major plenty of rounds on call changes on 8 bells to help the young learners at the age 9 years old it was a bit louder further down the side of the church hall down the ginnels the church bell tower is attached to the church yes its got 4 leaded white clock faces and a chiming westminster chimes strikes didnt hear it this morning maby they forgot to put the chimes back on a lovley church with a thich steeple which sticks out on 4 ledded sides we all rang from 11 am till 12 noon then a lovley pub lunch yes i had fish chips beans cost was about 10 pound 5 pence with a diet coke a lovley day out thanks again wonderfull i like your orgonisation trips just put it on the website so i know when it is so i can join in and see my friends from conisbrough church who helped me with my paying for the towers downation 5 pounds to go to the other towers thank you for helping me that was very nice of you friends hope to see you again next time at the next branch meeting the bells were very very quiet from outside to put sound proves to lower the sounds not to be so loud because of the houses around the church and schools simular to the one at penny lane mossley hill liverpool
