ANCA or Anti-Neutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibodies confuse even the most seasoned doc! Closely associated with vasculitis, they can be buried in the long list of antibodies checked when getting a rheumatology consult and are often overlooked. What do they mean? When do we use them?
