Today We go over the differences between my new 2016 NISMO 370z and my previous 2012 370z!

The Cars:

2012 Touring Model with Sport and Tech Package

2016 NISMO Edition with Tech Package

Both cars have the 6 speed manual transmission.

Overall the Nismo is a completely better car all around then my previous 2012. And it should be since it cost a lot more.
The handling is a step up into a completely different class and really feels like a Ferrari or GT-R out on the road. You feel every bump and contour in the road and it has ZERO chassis flex when taking a hard turn. The engine seems more responsive with a linear power band and has plenty of power for the car.

The clutch peddle and steering wheel have more weight to them and feel more direct. And the brakes seems better with a bit more bite.

I absolutely love the upgrade and it is well worth looking for a used 2015, 2016 or 2017 Nismo.

Don't waste your money on a new one since you will lose about $13k in depreciation in the first year. But a used one around the $35k mark is a great deal!

While this Nismo is a better car all around, adding a bucket seat and coilovers to your normal Z will drastically change the characteristics and make it drive and handle about the same! Budget less than $2k and you should be able to accomplish getting the right seat, coils and chassis brace.

The 370Z Has been around for nearly a decade and this is absolutely the best 370 Nissan has ever made! And they are sending this car out as an amazing sports car as they get ready to build a new Z car!
