As we move towards a future based on green energy, we may be facing significant shortages in metals such as copper, nickel and lithium. One way to attack these shortfalls could be through improved recycling and use of materials. But as the FT’s natural resources editor Tom Wilson explains, key recycling policies and strategies will be needed.
