Stanley Kubrick is one of those directors who broke the boundaries of conventional filmmaking and delivered works of masterpieces that stood the test of time unshakingly. Just like Bergman he is not afraid to question the essence of our existence, challenge what's right and wrong. Through his masterwork and sometimes disturbingly conflicting scenes he makes you think about everything from simple human evolution to values of our society.
