In planning for the coming expansion of cities the world over, we need a better understanding of the forces driving urban expansion and how they can be put to good use. This webinar will bring together a distinguished multi-disciplinary panel—an urban geographer, an urban historian, and an urban planner/economist who have written extensively on these issues. Director of Urban Expansion, Solly Angel, will moderate a panel that includes Senior Fellow Alain Bertaud as well as Marcy Burchfield, Vice President of the Economic Blueprint Institute at the Toronto Region Board of Trade, and Robert Bruegmann, Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Urban Planning, University of Illinois at Chicago.

The webinar will be co-hosted by the Urban Expansion program and the journal, "Buildings and Cities."
