On March 8, the Library Innovation Lab is hosted a conference titled “Transform: Justice” at Harvard Law School. A celebration of the full, unqualified release of the data from the Caselaw Access Project anchored the event, focused on the future of the access-to-law movement. Speakers across government, academia, and industry sketched out the opportunities ahead for expanding access to legal data and its waterfall effects across society and justice.

In this session, we hear from Mike Lissner, founder of the Free Law Project; Sara Frug, director of the Legal Information Institute; and Angela Jaffee, an account director at vLex and former national programs administrator for the Administrative Office of the United States Courts, about what it takes to make the law free for everybody.
