One of the underrated and deserted lakes in Gilgit Baltistan region is Kharfaq lake. It is a high altitude natural lake located in the Karakoram mountain range in Kharfaq, GB . It is a very big water reservoir between Skardu and Khaplu region. The lake itself is a beautiful place for tourist to discover. The best month for the tourists to visit the lake is July and August.
