Firstly, yes. Obviously New Zealand isn't in Brisbane. We wish it was, because that would mean we wouldn't have to travel three hours on a plane to experience anything that is actually good. But Maddie is a New Zealander, and it was her birthday, so off we went on our first International Special!

In this vlog, you will see us three besties traversing through Middle Earth. You will also see Kirsten make frequent Lord of the Ring references that fly over her comrades' heads. At one point, you will hear Ariana ponder to herself, "who is Gandalf?" much to Kirsten's dismay.

Anyway. If you also want to go to New Zealand instead of Brisbane (which we highly recommend), here is the exact itinerary you should follow:

Day 1: Auckland. Get yourself some free accommodation at your best friend's aunt's house. Don't have either of these? Bad luck.
Day 2: Drive to Mount Maunganui. Climb a mountain. Stay with your best friend's relatives. Don't have these? Bad luck.
Day 3-4: Drive back to Auckland. Go to Piha Beach. Get motion sickness on the winding roads and lie down for the rest of the day. Visit every op shop. Buy nothing. Eat everything.
Day 5-7: Fly to Nelson. Go to markets. Go to RSPCA and cry over kittens. Go to Whispering Falls. Break ankle. Stay with best friend's mum and sister. Don't have one? GET. ONE.
Day 8-9: Fly back to Auckland and make dinner for your hosts. Cry because you don't want to go back to Brisbane. Go back to Brisbane anyway.
Day 10: Brisbane. You're crying now. But not for too long, because there's so many things to do here that aren't shit!
