Rutgers researchers are using videogames and virtual reality to help stroke victims relearn movement faster. The custom games facilitate faster recoveries partially because they can be played in-home - which is more convenient than a traditional visit to a therapy appointment outside the home - meaning patients can choose when and how often they want to perform their therapy.
