Pakistan's sense of film direction has seen an immense improvement with the advent of directors such as Shoaib Mansoor and now Shoaib Khan is the next buzz. The Pakistani crowd is eager to get hold of trailers of his new film Rangeen. According to Mr. Khan," We're trying to make a reality-based film which focuses on daily happenings that people can easily relate to...to bring forth real-life and relatable characters instead of those typical scenes where you see the hero being shot at with a 100 bullets and still surviving." Mr. Khan, unlike most of the Lollywood directors' lot realizes the progress in the maturity of audiences who wants to see the reality on screen rather than old fictional funny characters. He points out, "My idea of film-making is that it should explore what life really is; even the dialogues should be those that people use in everyday life." Focusing on Rangeen, it is about 5 couples who go through different problems in their lives wrapped inside their feelings of romance and fears. The cast consists of Natasha Hussain, Abdullah Ijaz, Tariq Taqi, Arsalan Mughal, Raza Shah, Sadaf Kanwal, Sana Khan, Hina Sultan, Annie and Shafqat Cheema. The jewel to the crown is the fact that the movie would feature a song Nach Baliye to be sung by Quratulain Balouch with Shajar Fakhar who is also the composer of the song.
